We all have a picture in our minds that we associate with success where we are doing something we love. For me it has always been sitting in front of a bay-window with a grand scene in front of me. I would be at a desk with a laptop writing my next book. Of course I would also be very successful, healthy, and wealthy and have many great relationships.
When it comes to self-improvement, commitments, original ideas and creative solutions I never ceased to amaze people. Writing on paper in a coherent way is another story. I was going to wait another 2-3 years or however long it would take me to learn to write properly until…
…I changed my mind this summer.
I decided that I was no longer going to post pone telling other people about how they can enjoy the quality of their lives more today. This all comes easy to me-and I sure do have a great life as a result of it. But everyone else seems to be struggling to see the joy in life and make ends meet in their relationships. The kinds of problems/challenges I face in life today are ones like:
1. Shall I add more to my monthly RRSP deduction?
2. What should I do with the extra $800?
It seems that everyone else is facing problems much more substantial than mine. I'm dead serious; I really don't have any issues with anything at this junction in my life; things have been this way for over a year now.
Experience is teaching me that I will quickly loose the competitive conversation I have with people that usually involves them saying "Oh! You think YOU have it bad!?! Wait till you hear what I've been going through-…"
I have decided that even though my writing is not up to scratch (yet, I'm actively working on it), I will still begin writing articles, reports, blogs and giving presentations to help people grow and increase the quality of their lives. I want you to have a better day today because you took the time to do something you love doing.
